The floorboards should not be installed in place of a footpeg on a fixed peg mount with only one attachment and no anti-rotation mechanism. This will put too much stress on the mount and cause it to break. Passenger applications using part number 7916 (CC605139) require 1" of clearance between the bottom of the footboard and the exhaust. The 1" position is further out than stock. Part number 4455 (MCS541160) is recommended for passenger use only; the design of the mount raises the board approximately 1 1/4" above the stock peg location. Verify that the operation of the existing shift lever and brake pedal will not be compromised by the installation
